Build A Perfect Capsule Closet ..
A capsule closet is basically all closet essentials and basics put together to create the perfect timeless wardrobe.
Below are items that would not only be great if you were trying to create a capsule closet, but also basic pieces that are classics and can be worn tons of times, in a different way each time.
Skinny Jeans.
I guess its safe to assume just about everyone has a pair of skinny jeans in their closet, no?
Ideally your closet should have one air of black skinny jeans and a blue pair, skinny jeans are a must have due to their versatility, they can be dressed down with a t shirt, or dressed up with a silk camisole and pumps.
Plain white t shirt.
The second must have item for any wardrobe would be a plain white t-shirt, this always provides a clean foundation to any look, outfits that include white ts always have a fresh look to them and are killer paired with a red lip!
Leather Jacket
A staple in every fashionistas closet, leather jackets can be paired with just about anything and make the entire look badass, throwing a leather jacket over an otherwise basic outfit gives it an instant edge , plus you get to stay warm .
Black Blazer
Think of a black blazer as the leather jackets bougie sister, it instantly classes up any outfit its tossed on, and puts a finishing touch on any work outfit you put together, nothing screams boss babe like a blazer outfit.
LBD
The most exciting of all the pieces, the LBD (Little Black Dress) .Throwing one on almost always means its going to be a fun night ! Whether heading to the club, or heading out shopping, an LBD will always have you looking good. Its best to go for one with a very basic design. That would allow it to be layered according to the occasion (black blazer and pumps for cocktails, leather jacket for the club and a denim jacket and sneakers for shopping). Also be sure to get one with a length that’s sassy enough for the club but cute enough to be worn outdoors at daytime.
Pointed Toe pumps (black).
These are a must have for anyheel collection, Black pumps go with just about anything, you can pair them with mom jeans and a plain tee, a work outfit to just about anything in between, you can trust black pumps to add a polish up any outfit, a heel height of about 4 inches would be ideal (high enough to look gorge AF while still being comfy)
White Sneakers.
When your not in the mood for heels, or just going for a chilled out look, white sneaks have got you covered, the adidas stan smiths are nearly synonymous with minimal street style, the price can be steep, but there are plent of dupes out there that look just as great !
Denim jacket.
As opposed to the hard core look of a leather jacket, or the uptown chic air of a blazer, a denim jacket provides a perfect in between, making it a great item to layer on an outfit for a chill look, denim jackets can be trusted to give any outfit a cool,effortless vibe.
