U.S -Kenya; Online Shopping

If you’ve ever tried to buy anything off of say, amazon, or Sephora, I’m sure you noticed how complicated things got when you clicked on shipping. I have definitely had to resort to sending someone that was travelling to get me a whole bunch of stuff to avoid the cumbersome process that online shopping was (esp. dealing with the ‘wonderful’ Kenyan postal service).

(Disclaimer; this article is sponsored only by Beauty Studio Ke)*

Thankfully a lot has changed over the past few years, there are quite a number of stores that have made this process easier, there are a lot more shopping options that have made online shopping for me hassle free & hopefully they will for you too.

The online shopping sites I’ve tried out & would recommend are ; Savo store (which can purchase items on your behalf and ship them to you, which is particularly helpful if you do not have a visa enabled card or PayPal ) , VituMob and Specifically for makeup and beauty products ,BeautyStudioKe (purchases make-up and all beauty products from any store for you and delivers them to your doorstep, I use this when I just want a few hair, skin care or makeup products and don’t want to deal with the whole shipping process)

Having a visa enabled card definitely makes the process easier but isn’t necessary, but you should at least have a paypal (makes it so much easier to transact and tons of us stores’ online shops accept this method of payment.)

*As this is not a fully sponsored article, I cannot give too many details on how some of the stores work, I have however provided all their links (click on their names in blue) and you’ll find all the further details you need on their respective web pages.

That’s all for this post, thanks for checking it out!

Xo- Alex.
